 Harry August Roers, age 103, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Alexandria, passed away peacefully at home with his daughter at his side on December 4, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Diane Curran; grandson, Michael Curran; parents and siblings.
Harry is survived by his daughter, Conni (Walter); grandchildren, Rick (Ann), Deb (Steve), Brittany, Christin (Eric); and seven great-grandchildren (with another on the way); very special friend, Mary Roers; and many other family and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, July 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria. A reception will follow Mass. Interment is at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Curran, Diane M. Age 70, of The Villages, FL, formerly of Southwest Minneapolis, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family August 23, 2012. Preceded in death by son, Mike and mother, Margaret. Survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jim; children, Richard (Ann), Debra (Steven), Christin (Eric); sister, Conni (Walter); father, Harry; 6 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; sisters and brothers- in-law, Steve (Patty), Jody (Randy), Jill (Gary); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Monday, September 17 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church at 4030 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan, MN. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass. Interment Fort Snelling. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts preferred to the family or the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
